teaching the name of domestic animals in class I using projector

Teaching the name of domestic animals in class I through ICT( projector).
Marrying of ICT and teaching learning process is very integral part of education in 21st century. Information Communication Technology is the 21st century mode of learning which enhance the better delivery of information. It can also enhance better teaching and learning process.
On 12th August, 2019; I have downloaded the names of domestic animals with their pictures from the internet. I called my class I students to the ICT room during the fourth period. I greeted to my students. I instructed them to watch the video clips nicely.
While, children were watching the video clip, I was engaged in their note book correction.  After watching the clip, I asked individual child to list the names of six domestic animals. I went around looking at their work and amazingly many of them have done it correctly. At the same time, they have enjoyed the lesson and I got the free time to correct their home work.
My reflection on lesson taught through using laptop.
I tried and it works wonder. Every child could easily name six domestic animals. Children enjoyed the lesson so much because I could make it out from the expression. However, some of their domestic animals are not relevant to our context. For instance rabbit is their domestic animal and we don’t domesticate rabbits. It is also found out that some animals are totally new to us. So i have to convince them in the middle of the session. .
Using ICT modes, it helps a teacher to teach, it helps a teacher to do some other useful works when children are engaged watching the clip: for instance correction of home work, making some worksheets etc.
In general, the lesson went exceptionally good. Therefore, I would use different ICT mode in the next teaching.
Thanking you,

Through my own experience, children really learn better through visual arts. They love teaching using ICT. Integrating ICT in teaching develop learners' curiosity and we can engage them through out the period. You have done great job and I would urge you to continue the same.
