teaching the opposite words class II( using Google search from school computer)

ICT integration and Teaching the opposite of words (class II) through google search from school computer.
Thank you all for commenting on my first post for October month. Your comments helped me to grow academically and it has really enriched my wisdom in the field of teaching.  I am very much convinced that integrating of ICT in our daily lesson will have immense positive impacts in our teaching and learning processes. It was wonderful experience sharing how our friends in different corners are imparting the knowledge to our children through ICT integration. The thank you feeling will be always there to our ICT tutor for giving us this assignment to post in our blog.
On 21 October; 2019, during 5th and 6th period, I told students to find opposite of words given to them. I instructed my students to use the computer from the IT lab. I demonstrated on my cell phone how to search the word from Google in the IT lab.  Students are asked to form two groups and find opposites of the word given to them in the class.  Many enjoyed the lesson because they found the word themselves through internet.  It was evident from their expression.

Using ICT modes like computers help to reduce a work load of a teacher and it also adds more information to those students who are more curious about their learning.
In general, the lesson went exceptionally good. Therefore, I would use different ICT mode in the next teaching.

ICT integration and Teaching the name of domestic animals to students of class I using cell phone internet.
Thank you my dear friends for commenting on my post for September month. I tried my level best to keep informed myself by your comments.

On 4thth October; 2019 during the 6th period, I showed students how to use mobile phone internet to search the information they want to know or learn. Example: i taught them how to find the name of domestic animal from their phone internet. They are thoroughly briefed about the cell phone usage.  Students are asked to sit in groups and discuss and copy the name of domestic animals commonly found in their village. Many enjoyed the lesson; it was evident from their expression.
Using ICT modes like cell phone helps to reduce a work load of a teacher and it also adds more information to those students who are more curious about their learning.
In general, the lesson went exceptionally good. Therefore, I would use different ICT mode in the next teaching.

Teaching prepositions to class I students through cell Phone( YouTube)

Teaching the prepositions( on, in, under, beside, behind, in front of)  to class I through ICT( cell phone).
I am very much convinced that integrating of ICT in our daily lesson will have immense positive impacts in our teaching and learning processes. After reading almost all of my friends’ blog, I understood that there are different mediums of ICT that we can use in our daily teaching. It was wonderful experience sharing how our friends in different corners are imparting the knowledge to our children through ICT integration. The thank you feeling will be always there to our ICT tutor for giving us this assignment to post in our blog.
I kept all the feed backs in my mind that was given to me during my 1st September post.  I have collected 5 cell phones to use in my lesson to teach prepositions for class one students. On 25th September; 2019 during the 4th period, class I students are given cell phone to each group. They are thoroughly briefed about the cell phone usage. I down loaded the use of prepositions from the YouTube.  I greeted to my students. I instructed them to watch the YouTube about the prepositions. After watching the YouTube, I ask questions to see how much they have learned about the prepositions. Students are asked to sit in groups and discuss about each prepositions. Many enjoyed the lesson; it was evident from their expression.

Using ICT modes like cell phone helps the teacher a lot. It becomes more effective way of teaching because the YouTube videos show the clear concept of preposition.
In general, the lesson went exceptionally good. Therefore, I would use different ICT mode in the next teaching.

Teaching food crops to class I through ICT( video tutorial).
I don’t have any argument to tell about the positive contribution of integrating ICT in our daily lesson. After reading almost all of my friends’ blog, i came to learn so many things which i have never thought before than our blogger assignment. It was wonderful experience sharing how our friends in different corners are imparting the knowledge to our children through ICT integration. The thank you feeling will be always there to our ICT tutor for giving us this assignment to post in our blog.

Keeping myself thoroughly checked with the feedbacks given to me on my August post,  i decided to keep all there feed backs in my mind while posting my blog for September. I have prepared video tutorial for class I students on the topic food crops. On 5th August 2019, during the 4th period, I called my class I students to the ICT room during the fourth period. I greeted to my students. I instructed them to watch video tutorial closely. After completing my video tutorial i asked them to reflect how they feel about the video tutorial lesson. Many enjoyed the lesson; it was evident from their expression. After watching the video lesson i gave them a work sheet from their book to write the sentences about the different food crops. I could see many students have done it well.
Using ICT modes like video tutorial helps the teacher a lot. It becomes more effective way of teaching because we can monitor every student when they are engaged in listening to the tutorial lesson. It helps a teacher to do some other useful works when children are engaged watching the clip: for instance correction of home work, making some worksheets etc.
In general, the lesson went exceptionally good. Therefore, I would use different ICT mode in the next teaching.

second post for August: teaching of cereal song class I

Teaching the Cereal song  in class I through ICT( projector).
ICT and teaching learning process is very integral part of education in 21st century. Information Communication Technology is the 21st century mode of learning which enhance the better delivery of information. It can also enhance better teaching and learning process.
Keeping myself thoroughly checked with the feedbacks given to me on my first August post,  i decided to do my second teaching on 22nd August, 2019; I have prepared the cereal song in a power point presentation. I called my class I students to the ICT room during the fourth period. I greeted to my students. I instructed them how to sing the cereal song in the class following the tune of head and shoulder. I took two days to make my children sing the cereal song. On day one, i instructed them what they should be doing and in the second day, I taught them the cereal song on the power point presentation.
While, children were looking at the power point song. I was engaged in their note book correction.  After watching the song, we sang the rhyme together in the class.  I could see their happiness through the facial expression. They have enjoyed the lesson because i could see them all actively participating.
                   THE CEREAL SONG.
(sing it the tune of head and shoulder)
  Bitter buckwheat, bitter buckwheat
Maize and rice, maize and rice.
Barley, millet, maize and rice. Barley, millet, maize and rice.
Are food crops, are food crops.
Bitter buckwheat, bitter buckwheat
Maize and rice, maize and rice
Peas, beans and lentils, peas beans and lentils.
Are healthy food, are healthy food.

My reflection on Cereal song using power point presentation.
Using ICT modes, it helps a teacher to teach, it helps a teacher to do some other useful works when children are engaged watching the clip: for instance correction of home work, making some worksheets etc.

In general, the lesson went exceptionally good. Therefore, I would use different ICT mode in the next teaching.

teaching the name of domestic animals in class I using projector

Teaching the name of domestic animals in class I through ICT( projector).
Marrying of ICT and teaching learning process is very integral part of education in 21st century. Information Communication Technology is the 21st century mode of learning which enhance the better delivery of information. It can also enhance better teaching and learning process.
On 12th August, 2019; I have downloaded the names of domestic animals with their pictures from the internet. I called my class I students to the ICT room during the fourth period. I greeted to my students. I instructed them to watch the video clips nicely.
While, children were watching the video clip, I was engaged in their note book correction.  After watching the clip, I asked individual child to list the names of six domestic animals. I went around looking at their work and amazingly many of them have done it correctly. At the same time, they have enjoyed the lesson and I got the free time to correct their home work.
My reflection on lesson taught through using laptop.
I tried and it works wonder. Every child could easily name six domestic animals. Children enjoyed the lesson so much because I could make it out from the expression. However, some of their domestic animals are not relevant to our context. For instance rabbit is their domestic animal and we don’t domesticate rabbits. It is also found out that some animals are totally new to us. So i have to convince them in the middle of the session. .
