Teaching food crops to class I through
ICT( video tutorial).
I don’t have
any argument to tell about the positive contribution of integrating ICT in our
daily lesson. After reading almost all of my friends’ blog, i came to learn so
many things which i have never thought before than our blogger assignment. It
was wonderful experience sharing how our friends in different corners are
imparting the knowledge to our children through ICT integration. The thank you
feeling will be always there to our ICT tutor for giving us this assignment to
post in our blog.
Keeping myself thoroughly checked with the feedbacks
given to me on my August post, i decided
to keep all there feed backs in my mind while posting my blog for September. I
have prepared video tutorial for class I students on the topic food crops. On 5th
August 2019, during the 4th period, I called my class I students to
the ICT room during the fourth period. I greeted to my students. I instructed
them to watch video tutorial closely. After completing my video tutorial i
asked them to reflect how they feel about the video tutorial lesson. Many
enjoyed the lesson; it was evident from their expression. After watching the
video lesson i gave them a work sheet from their book to write the sentences
about the different food crops. I could see many students have done it well.
Using ICT modes like video tutorial helps the
teacher a lot. It becomes more effective way of teaching because we can monitor
every student when they are engaged in listening to the tutorial lesson. It
helps a teacher to do some other useful works when children are engaged
watching the clip: for instance correction of home work, making some worksheets
etc.
In general, the lesson went exceptionally good.
Therefore, I would use different ICT mode in the next teaching.

Video tutorial is a transformational tool and bring a considerable impact in children's learning, as long as if it is planned appropriately rather than just electronic babysitting.
ReplyDeleteYou used wonderful project to teach your children. It's good to know that you have used video tutorial in your classroom teaching. I suggest you to upload some pictures as evidences.
ReplyDeleteThank you kinzang sir and kezang sir, infact I have tried many times to upload my photos as you would wished to see it...but may because of slow network coverage the photos dont get uploaded....so therefore please pardon me .....and definately in my next post will upload the photos.....provided the net the net supports it.

ReplyDeleteIt's true that video tutorial works better than the power point presentation. The reason being that you can see your teacher simply talking from the screen when he is actually sitting right beside them. They love it and takes more concentration to what is it actually explaining. You did it and keep using more tutorial lessons.

It's interesting story to learn that teaching through video tutorial has more impact on children's understand capacity level. Therefore we need to thank our tutor for teaching us on video tutorial making sofsoftware known as camptesia and also for letting us to have hands on experience.

For small kids, learning through the video tutorial is a really an interesting lesson because they love to watch and give more concentration on what we show them.Hope your small kids had learnt fully la. keep it up.

DeleteVideo tutorial help us in many ways but for the first time, I faced difficulty in gaining their attention. Children were not convinced that they are learning something new. So when I show them for another time....I found that they are learning a lot
